About Natsec Asia 2018

NATSEC Asia 2018 or National Security Asia 2018 is the newly launched international exhibition on national security for Asia by the team of the Defence Services Asia or DSA series of exhibitions. The 16th Edition of the Defence Services Asia Exhibition and Conference; DSA 2018 which is set to take place on 16-19 April 2018 at the brand new Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur will mark its 30th anniversary since its inception in 1988. It is on this auspicious time that we are pleased to announce the launch of NATSEC Asia 2018 which will focus on all national security sectors including public safety.

A Unique Niche

NATSEC Asia is set to become a truly dedicated national security show which will ride on the well-established DSA platform as the most effective launch pad.

This unique and niche collaboration will surely expand DSA’s portfolio of serving both the defence and security markets for the region. The uniqueness is where DSA will be one of its kinds where everything for the military forces as well as national security forces will be intensely and widely covered within a single venue allowing these sectors to merge and create effective synergies.

Another undeniable unique aspect of this combination is where NATSEC Asia will be able to tap on DSA’s globally recognised VIP delegation management system plus there will be new profiles under the National security banner hence increasing the overall quantity but more importantly quality of the delegations that will be delivered during the 4 days to both events.

Why NatSec Asia 2018

Based on a survey conducted by Homeland Security Research Corp. (HSRC), by the year of 2022, the Asia-Pacific Homeland Security and Public Safety market will grow from $123 billion to $226 billion. This market includes aviation, borders, maritime and perimeter security, along with critical infrastructure security, land transportation security, CBRNe mitigation systems and police modernisation. By taking advantage of these facts and figures, Nat Sec Asia 2018 is timely launched.

NATSEC Asia 2018 will be hosted, supported and co-organised by the Ministry of Defence Malaysia, Royal Malaysian Police in partnership with Royal Malaysia Police Cooperative Limited as well as several other national security agencies
